Welcome to Green Oaks Spine & Sport where Dr. Neal Griffin, Dr. Jacqueline Botts, and Dr. Derek Bruner provide quality chiropractic care. Our practice located in America’s dream city, Arlington, TX, and serves patients – including numerous professional, select, and club athletes – from all over the Dallas Fort Worth area. We use various advanced techniques in order to ensure our patients feels their best after every visit. Dr. Griffin is from Saskatchewan, Canada. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education from the University of Regina in Canada. He moved to Dallas in 1994 and earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Parker University in 1998.
Dr. Griffin has been involved in competitive sports for many years both as a player and coach. He has coached hockey, volleyball, baseball and soccer. Dr. Griffin started playing hockey at the age of 4 and played competitively in Bantam and Midget. This experience and formal education in anatomy and physiology helps him to diagnose your problem and develop a recovery strategy specifically designed for you.
His approach to sports and other injuries is to understand each sport and injury individually with regards to the stress it puts on the bodies muscle, nerve and skeletal systems. By understanding the cause of the injury, this allows more focused treatment which returns you back to regular activity quickly.
Dr. Peter Duong grew up in Arlington, TX and went to James Bowie High School. He has a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and Health and Wellness from Parker University. Dr. Duong also completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Parker University. After Parker University Dr. Duong completed his full body certification with Active Release Techniques (ART). He is also a certified Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) medical professional which makes him an expert in treating golfers.
Dr. Duong is currently working on furthering his knowledge in the healing arts by taking additional classes with TPI, ART and the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Dr. Duong aspires to becoming an Elite Provider in the ART network of doctors and a leading Doctor of Chiropractic when it comes to sports and spinal injuries.
Derek is from a small East Texas town. After sustaining an injury during his junior year of high school that put an end to his dreams of playing college baseball, he was introduced to his first chiropractic mentor. His passion became to help others to avoid suffering the same fate.
Derek is a graduate from Parker University with a Doctorate in Chiropractic and a Bachelor of Science degree. He is full body certified in Active Release Techniques and has multiple certifications in functional nutrition.
