All of our patients undergo an injury-specific functional evaluation as well as complete a thorough history on their injury and condition. Following this evaluation, the doctor may perform manual therapy including ART, Cold Laser Therapy, and prescribe a specific series of stretching and strengthening activities tailored to you and your injury.

This sport specific approach is remarkably successful in restoring function and quickly returning the athlete to normal activity. The doctors have worked with all types of athletes: golf, tennis, volleyball, soccer, baseball, football, and hockey players. Dr. Griffin has treated players from the Seattle Mariners, Boston Red Socks, Dallas Wings, and Ironman finishers as well as many amateur, highschool and select athletes in and around Arlington, TX.

The approach to sports injuries is to understand each sport individually from a mechanical aspect. By understanding the stresses put on the body’s muscle, nerve and skeletal systems, we can more effectively understand the cause of the injury. The injury may be traumatic or repetitive trauma. By having a better understanding of the cause of injury, a focused treatment is performed to return the athlete back to regular activity quickly. We offer soft tissue treatment, spine care, and pain management therapies in Arlington to help you get back on the field faster.
